Sweet Dream: A Mizisua Zine is a fanzine that aims to appreciate and celebrate the romantic relationship of Sua and Mizi from ALIEN STAGE. This zine will explore their budding love turned sorrow in canon & what-ifs in alternate universes.All the characters featured in the zine belong to animation series titled ALIEN STAGE developed and created by VIVINOS, QMENG, and Studio Lico. Sweet Dream is an unofficial and fanmade project with no direct affiliation with ALIEN STAGE and the creators nor does the series and creators endorse the project in any way.

✹ Is there an age minimum for applicants?
Contributors must be 16 years or older by the end of applications with no exceptions.✹ Can I apply for multiple roles?
Applicants may apply to more than one role, but can only be accepted for one. Depending upon our interest check and accepted number of contributors, artists may be allowed to volunteer for multiple assignments (e.i. spot art).✹ What are the application guidelines for each role?
Guidelines will be released before applications open. We'll be releasing an announcement so that applicants can prepare their portfolios!✹ How will contributors be compensated?
Contributors are guaranteed a free digital bundle of all goods. Should this project go to production, contributors will be able to purchase items at production cost. Should sales allow, our ultimate goal is to provide a free full bundle and shipping to each contributor.✹ How many contributors are you accepting?
Acceptance numbers will be determined by our interest check as well as the number of applications we receive.✹ Are works set in Alternate Universes allowed?
Yes, we will be allowing works set in alternate universes. The mod team will make sure that there’s a balance of works set in canon and in AUs being featured.✹ Can contributors feature other characters in their works? What about Ivantill and Hyuluka?
Yes, contributors are welcome to include other characters and pairings like Ivantill and Hyuluka as long as Mizisua are still the focus of the piece.✹ Do I need to have zine experience to apply?
No, the mods are happy to welcome those who are new to zines and are willing to guide them through the process!✹ My question isn't here!

GENERAL GUIDELINES✹ All applicants must be 16+ or will be turning 16 by the time applications end.✹ All final pieces must be original and created specifically for this project. Previously created or published works will not be allowed.
✹ As communications will mainly be done through our Discord server, as well as Discord DMs should mods need to contact a specific contributor, we request that all contributors have a Discord account.
✹ If you fail to communicate with the mod team during check-ins, you may be removed from the project.✹ We will do our best to accommodate our contributors who stay in contact; however, if mods are not able to reach you after communicated deadlines, you may forfeit your position in the zine so the project may be completed in a timely manner.✹ Only SFW works are permitted to be submitted as samples and in the portfolio. For writers, excerpts from NSFW works are only allowed if they are SFW.✹ Applicants are allowed to apply for more than one position but will only be accepted into one.✹ Links to samples and portfolios must be easily viewable and accessible. If you’re using Google Drive to store your portfolio, make sure the permissions to the folder is set to “Anyone with the link”. The mod team will not reach out to any of the applicants with broken links and their application will be considered voided.✹ At least one (1) ALIEN STAGE sample is required. Mizisua samples are encouraged but not required.✹ If the applicants are found to have committed the forementioned arcs, they will have their application voided:
- Promoting or supporting ideologies that are harmful to real life individuals (e.g racism, homophobia, transphobia, or any sort of bigotry)
- Participated in harassing other people
- Created their works with the aid of Generative AI
- Traced or plagiarized other people's works✹ In the event that contributors are found to have committed the aforementioned acts, they will be promptly removed and a pinch hitter will be called to fill in.✹ Applicants will not be screened based on their ships or preferences outside of the zine.✹ Failure to follow any of the guidelines can result in a deduction of your overall score or disqualification.

✹ Those applying to be a page artist must provide three (3) completed artworks that best showcase the style you wish to illustrate for the zine.
✹ One (1) sample must include a fully illustrated and rendered background—meaning no graphic design elements, flat colors, or vectors.
✹ Portfolio must include five (5) or more artworks. The three (3) samples submitted will be counted as part of the portfolio.
✹ Applicants will be judged based on the following criteria: anatomy, lighting, composition, color theory, and grasp of personal style.
✹ Traditional artworks are accepted and must be scanned at 300 dpi or higher.
✹ If applying to be a comic artist, comic samples are encouraged but not required.
✹ If accepted, page artists will be required to illustrate one (1) page art, one (1) spread art, or one (1) comic of their own choice. Comic artists can illustrate up to four (4) pages.
✹ Artists may also choose to collaborate with a writer and illustrate a spot art based on their story.
